Do you host microweddings?

Yes! We love a small, intimate gathering. And our space is “scale-able” with being ready for small groups to larger celebrations. Inquire for more details!

What are catering options?

Your event is unique to you, and food is an expression of that. In that view, we are always happy to add to our list of approved vendors. For vendor approval, caterers included, they will need to do a site visit as soon as booked.

What are the rental hours?
  • Friday, Saturday, or Sunday 11:00 am- 11:00pm (all day rental). Event must finish by 11:00pm, and client has until 11:30pm to depart.
  • Weekday events 8:00am-10:00pm, all day or 4-hour rentals
  • 4-hour rental blocks (minimum, inquire for fewer hours)
  • Inquire for daytime gatherings!

If your event planned times are outside of these hours, please contact us and we can check what is available.

Do you require a wedding planner?

We highly recommend one for your big day to coordinate details before and on the wedding day. We do ask you to designate a day-of coordinator that will attend a final meeting reviewing any details before the event. Ellsworth Block is an event venue and does not provide planning services or day-of services beyond paid setup add-ons.

Does Ellsworth Block provide in-house wedding planning?

No, Ellsworth Block does not provide in-house wedding planning or day-of coordination.

Where is the nearest parking?

There are several nearby parking options on Mifflin and Dayton/Pinckney. Street parking is free after 6pm and on Sundays in the downtown area.

Can we drop off or have items for our event delivered ahead of time?

Deliveries are coordinated per event. Please contact us to arrange deliveries for your event.

Do you have special rates for non-profits organizations?

Ellsworth Block endeavors to support our community organizations. Please contact us regarding your charitable event.

I’m an artist/maker/baker/pop-up vendor, can we do an event at EB?

Yes, Ellsworth Block aims to support local, independent vendors for pop-up and other community events. Contact us regarding these types of events.

Do you have a kitchen or a water fountain?

Ellsworth Block has a kitchen area with a sink – usable for quick rinses and tap water.

Do you have wifi?

Yes, we have wifi available for you and your guests.

What services do you provide?

Ellsworth Block is an event venue and provides limited services with the space rental. We highly recommend hiring an event planner to coordinate logistics and be there for the day-of decisions. We do offer add-ons for turning over a space from ceremony to reception, furniture removal, or some special requests.

Is Ellsworth Block handicap accessible?

Ellsworth Block has many ADA features such as bathroom stalls and door handles. Unfortunately at this time, there is only stair access to our second and third floors. We hope to add elevator access as soon as we are able.
